Dr. Joseph Ivin Thomas is an Assistant Professor of Medical Physiology & Biophysics (East Point Medical College) and Adjunct Faculty of the School of Natural Sciences & Engineering (National Institute of Advanced Studies), based in Bangalore city, Karnataka state, India. He has a multidisciplinary and inter-disciplinary educational and research background in Modern Medicine, Cognitive Neuroscience, Computational Neuroscience, Medical Physiology, Physics, and Mathematics. He has to his credit several original publications in international peer-reviewed physics journals and his past work in computational neuroscience (viz. polychronic wavefront computation) has received numerous citations in the Procedia Computer Science (Elsevier) journal.
